Adams or the 'Observatory Hill' and 'Butcher's Hill' which battery is a quarter of a mile to the left and mounts two 32-pounders, from the church above the battery, (on one of the highest points above the city) we have a beautiful view of Fulton & Jamestown the latter on the Kentucky shore." Sketch of a fat man lying down, mouth open.

Horizontal and irregular folds; once part of a larger sheet, possibly, for left side shows signs of adhesive; paper partially missing from this area on left margin; dog ears at right corners; rip along right margin; general scruffiness; stray blue mark.
